Using Live Remote Support
This article describes how to set up your computer for remote access. You must have a working Internet connection from the computer for which we will be providing assistance.
- Navigate to http://support.objectpac.com and click on the Get Remote Access QS button. This will download and save a small executable file.
- If you are using Internet Explorer, click Run to execute. If you are using Firefox, Safari or Google Chrome, open the folder in your computer where downloads are stored and double-click the TeamViewerQS_en****.exe file to run it.
- Acknowledge any User Account Control warning by clicking Yes. You will see the following Disclaimer, which you must Accept to continue.
- Once you see the following window, you are ready to go. The technician will then begin the session with you.
Note that no program will be installed on your computer in order to complete a remote session. You may terminate the session at any time. After the session has completed you can delete the executable by moving it to the Recycle bin.
